I am an ISTE qualified teacher and the NET teacher for English Language and Literature at Marymount Secondary School. Originally from South Africa, I have been working in the local school system for the last five years. I am passionate about innovation and creativity in education and I hope to lead change in the local school system. I am currently working with the EDB on a Makerspace project which aims to incorporate Maker Education, Design Thinking and Thinking Routines in English classrooms, as well as a Project Zero initiative titled Envisioning Innovation in Education. My other areas of interest include EdTech, STEAM Education and Values Education.
