Ms. Purwanti is an accomplished and enthusiastic mathematics educator with over 8 years of teaching experience in an upper school setting. She is adept at utilizing a holistic approach, educational technology, and project-based learning. Ms. Purwanti is dedicated to supporting student growth and development by providing a meaningful learning experience. Her mathematics classroom provides an opportunity for students to think flexibly, make conjectures, justify their reasoning, and reflect on their mathematical processes. These habits of mind hopefully will help her students to thrive in their lives. Ms. Purwanti completed her master’s degree from Syracuse University, New York in 2020 funded by the Fulbright Program. Currently, she is a high school mathematics at the American International School of Hong Kong and is open to collaboration to develop meaningful learning in mathematics classrooms.
