Assistant Director of Student Support Services, Keystone Academy

I am an American international educator and leader with 14 years of experience working overseas. I am currently the lead EAL specialist and the Assistant Director of Student Support Services, K-12, at Keystone Academy in Beijing, China. My teaching background was mostly in humanities- English language acquisition and individuals & societies/social studies. I have been a curriculum coordinator, secondary EAL coordinator, and Assistant Director. I earned my undergraduate degree in History from Ohio University, my master’s degree in Education-TESOL from the University of Cincinnati, and my educational doctorate in Leadership from the American College of Education. In my roles, I focus on co-teaching as support best practices, leadership traits and personal leadership resources (PLRs), staff and student social-emotional well being, and staff conflict mediation and resolution.
